Highly-regarded specialist care
Until recently, Susan has been the Medical Director of the IVF clinic in Launceston and on the executive of the Australian Association of O&G Ultrasound, and on Government and Medicare Advisory Committees.
She originally completed her specialist training at John Hunter Hospital after graduating with first class honours in Medicine and Surgery at the University of NSW. Susan will return to Newcastle in January 2012 to work with the Hunter IVF fertility team, ceasing her obstetric practice to concentrate on Infertility and Women's Ultrasound.
Susan is also the mother of four children, and her calm and reassuring manner is appreciated by her patients. She began working in Infertility and IVF in 2000, after spending a year working in Darwin and remote communities with an emphasis on indigenous women's health. She then moved to Launceston to establish the first Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis Centre in the north of Tasmania.
